An independent, national, toll-free support call line is available to provide support for anyone who requires assistance. This line is available free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


Indian Residential School Survivor Crisis Line (24 hr)

The IRSS Crisis Line is a National Crisis Line that provides support to Residential School survivors to access emotional and crisis referral services. This line is for former Residential School students and those affected by the residential school system, including families of survivors.


Klinic Crisis Line (24 hr)

The Klinic Crisis Program operates free and confidential counselling, support and referrals for people who are suicidal, in crisis or struggling to cope.


Manitoba Suicide Support (24 hr)

MSS is a 24-hour, non-judgemental and confidential service. Their caring and compassionate counsellors will listen and support you whether you are dealing with suicidal thoughts, worried about a loved one, or impacted by a loved one's loss or attempt.

If young people need help right now, they can text a trained, volunteer crisis responder at Kids Help Phone about anything they’re going through. No issue is too big or too small.

Mobile Crisis Teams support youth and families with safety and mental health concerns, parent/child conflict and behaviour management wherever crisis is occurring, whether at home, in hospital, at school or elsewhere in the community.

Health Links – Info Santé, is a bilingual phone-based program within the Provincial Health Contact Centre.

Registered nurses provide assessment, triage and health-care advice to individuals of all ages calling from within Manitoba.

Depending on patients’ described condition and community location in Manitoba nurses provide clinical guidance for patients to contact their family physician or a walk-in clinic, present to an Emergency Department or to an Urgent Care Centre as well as advice on self-care treatments at home.


Trans Lifeline

Trans Lifeline’s Hotline is a peer support phone service run by trans people for trans and questioning peers. Call if you need someone trans to talk to, even if you’re not in a crisis or if you’re not sure you’re trans.
