Do you have lived experience with pregnancy or infant loss? Would you like to provide support and comfort to people and families as they navigate a loss of their own?

Dragonfly Support Program (DSP) at Women’s Health Clinic offers support for individuals and family members who have been impacted by pregnancy loss, infant loss, or babies born to spirit.

Peer Support Volunteers are essential to DSP.  Because of you, people who are dealing with loss have a place to connect, share stories, and support one another. You’ll also have the opportunity to share your experience, wise practices, and support with service providers, knowledge keepers, and other helpers across the province.  As a volunteer, you may:

  • offer one-on-one peer support to clients
  • facilitate online and in-person Grief Support Circles
  • participate in our Community of Practice

Registration is open to anyone, of any gender, who has lived experience with pregnancy loss, infant loss, or babies born to spirit. This session runs in-person for 7 weeks. You must attend all sessions to become a volunteer in the program.
