Do you have lived experience with pregnancy or infant loss? Would you like to provide support and comfort to people and families as they navigate a loss of their own?

Dragonfly Support Program (DSP) at Women’s Health Clinic offers support for individuals and family members who have been impacted by pregnancy loss, infant loss, or babies born to spirit. Training for new peer support volunteers is now open. Peer support volunteers are essential to DSP. As a volunteer, you may:

- offer one-on-one peer support to clients

- facilitate online and in-person Grief Support Circles

- participate in our Community of Practice

Registration is open to anyone, of any gender, who has lived experience with pregnancy loss, infant loss, or babies born to spirit.

This training is structured into two sections.

Section 1 will require independent online learning over 9 modules through our DSP Google Classroom, which may take up to 20 hours to complete.

Section 2 is an in-person training session where we will come together to practice peer support skills, have group discussions, and learn more about program policies and procedures. The dates for the in-person sessions will be Sunday, February 21st, Sunday, February. 28th, Sunday March 7th and Sunday March 14th (times to be determined)

WHEN: Sunday Feb. 21st, Sunday Feb. 28th, Sunday March 7th and Sunday March 14th

WHERE: Ode’imin (603 St. Mary’s Road)

You must attend all sections to become a volunteer in the program.
