Overview

Over 30 years ago, Women’s Health Clinic was founded by a small group of passionate and dedicated volunteers. Today, the energy and efforts of many volunteers provide diverse community members and WHC clients with important health services, information, and education. Volunteers also provide vital connections to our communities through leadership on our Board of Directors and Board committees. Please consider joining us!

If you're passionate about reproductive rights and helping people make the best decisions for their own live, our BCPC program might be a great fit for you!

Trained volunteer counsellors provide pro-choice, feminist-based, non-judgmental, compassionate support, information and referrals to clients on birth control and pregnancy options. You may also discuss issues about sexuality and relationships, sexually transmitted infection/HIV prevention, and safer sex practices.

Dragonfly Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Program

The Dragonfly Support Program at Women’s Health Clinic supports people impacted by pregnancy loss, infant loss, and babies born to spirit. We are currently offering counselling, peer support, group support, and resources for individuals and families affected by these experiences.

We’re building up a community of peers to provide volunteer support to those impacted by pregnancy loss, infant loss, or babies born to spirit. Peer Support Volunteers working within the Dragonfly Support Program are now offering peer support and resources to clients who access our services.

If you have relevant lived experience and would like to support your peers, click below for more information.
