Amy Wang (she/her) is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and an Assistant Controller at Richardson International. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba with double majors in Accounting and Human Resources Management.
 

She is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvements. With her background and passion in human resources, she served on the Finance Co-op Committee at Richardson International before she went on mat leave, where she strived to provide mentorship and leadership through recruiting, networking, and organizing events that promote learning and developing.
 

She first became acquainted with WHC during her pregnancy in 2025 through services including Midwifery and Prenatal Workshops. She was searching for resources as a new mother in 2026 on WHC’s website when she came across the public call for application for a Director role on the board. Feeling deeply connected to WHC’s vision to promote people’s agency with the belief that all people should be empowered to take care of their mental, emotional, physical, sexual, and spiritual health and well-being, she is excited to embark on her first board role, bringing technical expertise, personal experience, an analytical and open mind to the WHC board.
