Birth Control & Pregnancy Counselling Program

Trained volunteer counsellors provide pro-choice, non-judgmental, compassionate support, information and referrals for:

  • birth control
  • pregnancy options (abortion, adoption & parenting)
  • preventing sexually transmitted infections and HIV and safer sex practices
  • issues about sexuality and relationships

We are available during drop-in times for limited sexual and reproductive health issues in addition to teen clinic, however CALL US FIRST at 204-947-1517. Please do not drop-in for these services prior to calling.

Sexual Health Clinic – CALL FIRST
Mondays 3-7pm (except holidays)

For people of all ages who have a cervix, uterus, vagina, or vulva who need:

  • birth control counselling/information
  • birth control refills /follow up
  • pap tests
  • pregnancy tests
  • pro-choice pregnancy counselling/ information (abortion/adoption/parenting)
  • sexual/reproductive health
  • STI testing / treatment
  • vaginal health

 Teen Clinic – CALL FIRST 
Thursdays 3-8pm

For young people of all genders age 13-21 with concerns about:

  • abortion
  • birth control (starting/refills)
  • drop in counselling
  • general health
  • menstrual periods
  • morning after pill / emergency contraception
  • post abortion
  • pregnancy
  • sex & sexuality
  • sexually transmitted infections (STIs/HIV)
  • STI testing/ treatment
  • vaginal health

Decision-making Tools

Pregnancy Options Info has a workbook with unbiased exercises and guidance to help you make a decision if you discover you are pregnant. Provides advice for parents and for male partners. Some resources and information is American.
