Counselling For Teens

If you are between  13 – 18 years old and identify as female, Two-Spirit, genderqueer, non-binary or trans, and having difficulty with things like school, relationships, or emotions, counselling can help.

  • It is confidential;
  • It is free.
  • You do not need permission from anyone (parents, teacher, or doctor) to attend.

You can talk to your counsellor about anything. No problem is too big or too small. Your counsellor will listen without judging and ask questions that help you figure things out.

Counselling at WHC is private. Your parents do not need to know unless you want to tell them. Your counsellor will explain more about privacy and answer any questions you might have.

Our intake counsellor can answer your questions, tell you about wait times, and find other helpful resources for you. If you have barriers to phoning, you can have a support person contact intake on your behalf to discuss other intake options.

To get started, please call 204-947-2422 ext. 204.
