Free Counselling for Adult Women
Low Cost Counselling for Adult Women
The Circle is a directed discussion and support group open to all women, including trans women. Using topics related to wellness chosen by the women in the group, we will consider a set of thought-provoking questions to guide our discussion. Together, we will examine the many messages we hear as women about what it means to be well. We will share ideas, wisdom, opinions, and practical tips for living. The Circle is a place to come rest and connect; those who prefer to listen are welcome.
3rd Tuesday of the month • 6:15 – 8:15 pm
Women’s Health Clinic Main Floor, 419 Graham Ave.
Come connect with others and spend some time in your day being mindful while you walk. The pace will be slow to moderate. This is not an exercise group. No experience necessary.
Research shows regular walking can reduce anxiety and depression and improve overall wellbeing. Mindfulness practices can help relieve stress, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, and improve sleep.
Each session will include a check-in, mindfulness exercise, mindful walk (in silence), and check-out. We will walk for 30-40 minutes, rain or shine! This group is open to all women, including trans women.
Wednesday Afternoons (May 24th & 31st, June 7th & 14th) • 1:30pm
